The Allen County Prosecutor’s Office offers two deferral programs, the Pretrial Diversion Program and the Infraction Deferral Program. These programs give defendants the opportunity to pay a fee and maintain good behavior for a contracted period of time in exchange for the case being dismissed if these conditions are satisfied. Offenders are referred to the Infraction Deferral Program (IDP) for infraction violations and to the Pretrial Diversion Program (PDP) for misdemeanor offenses.
